Dr Wayne Hurlow – General Practitioner
I fell in love with the Nelson region while on a high school camp after moving from South Africa in 1996. I vowed that I would return, and that day came in November 2010.
A lot had happened during that time including marrying my gorgeous wife Kim in 2005, and completing my medical degree at Auckland University in 2008. Our family has since grown and we have two small children and enjoy all that this region has to offer.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice and am passionate about preventative medicine. When not at work, you may find me on local mountain bike trails, or kicking a football around (the round kind!). I am also active in my local church.
Despite living in New Zealand most of my life, at certain times of the year I can be heard shouting silly things such as “Go Bokke!”
