Tapawera Doctors Clinic
We hold a Doctor’s Clinic is held at the Tapawera Plunket Rooms on Rata Street every Monday during school term from 9am – 12pm.
Doctors alternate going to Tapawera, so you may not see your regular doctor at this clinic.

Tapawera Nurse Clinics
A Nurse Clinic is held on alternate Tuesdays from 12:30 – 1:30pm every fortnight in the ‘Health Room’ at Tapawera School. Rebecca Whittaker runs this clinic during term time. These clinics are free and are open to all students at Tapawera School.
A Nurse clinic is also held at the Plunket Rooms on Rata Street every 2nd Tuesday during term time from 9.30 – 10.30am.

Reduced GP Fees at the Tapawera Clinic
We have been able to obtain some funding to help run the Tapawera Clinic on the basis that there is a need for additional health services in Tapawera and the surrounding areas. We are using part of this funding to reduce the cost of seeing the doctor at the Tapawera Clinic.
While funding lasts, prices for patients seen at the Tapawera Clinic will be:
• $30 instead of $55.00 to see the GP.
• $25 instead of $51.00 for under 25s and over 65s to see the GP.
